Dear Valued Customer,

I would like to start this letter with a big thank you for all the business you have given to us over the past years.

X Film Ltd has been run as a family business since 1983 and throughout this time it has grown due to our many good customers and both Mel and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you.

But the time has come for me to hang up my Stanley knife and my gloves. I am now in my 66th year and am ready for retirement.

As from Wednesday 6th March 2013 I will be leaving you in the more than capable hands of Geoff Leigh at Sydney Beaumont (Leeds) Ltd who are the other UK based X Film distributor. Like us Geoff also runs a family business and has the same working ethos as we do — customer first. I will be working closely with Geoff and his team over the coming months to make sure there is a smooth transition and will brief him on all the customer’s requirements. You will receive an introduction letter from Geoff within the next few days to start the changeover process.
